Els Center for Autism

Jupiter, Florida

The Els Center for Autism is a world-class, 26-acre campus in Jupiter, Florida, dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with autism through education, therapy, research, recreation, and adult services. Developed to create a purpose-built environment that fosters learning, independence, and lifelong success, the campus integrates innovative architectural design with specialized programming tailored to the unique needs of individuals on the autism spectrum.

As the owner's representative, Collins Development played a key role in delivering  the 21,000-square-foot Stoops Family Adult Services Building, designed specifically to support vocational training, life skills, and workforce development for adults with autism. Through close coordination with architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders, Collins Development helped bring to life a campus that serves as a national model for autism-friendly design and comprehensive care.

Furry Friends Animal Hospital

Jupiter, Florida

The Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch is a state-of-the-art, 15,000-square-foot no-kill animal shelter, adoption center, and veterinary hospital designed to provide exceptional care for homeless animals while creating a welcoming adoption experience. The facility features four veterinary exam rooms, a fully equipped laboratory, digital X-ray services, treatment and recovery areas, and dedicated spaces that support comprehensive medical care.

 

Designed with the comfort and well-being of every animal in mind, the shelter includes five turfed outdoor play areas, a unique two-story cat enclosure, separate kennels tailored for dogs of varying sizes, and dedicated rooms for kittens and puppies. The thoughtfully planned facility combines modern veterinary services with compassionate shelter design, creating a safe, healthy, and enriching environment for animals awaiting their forever homes.

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary

Jupiter, Florida

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a state-of-the-art wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education campus situated on 19.4 acres in Jupiter, Florida. The new campus encompasses approximately 18,250 square feet of buildings, including a modern animal hospital, welcome center, education building, rehabilitation facilities, and specialized animal care structures designed to support the Sanctuary's mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing Florida's native wildlife.

 

As the owner's representative, Collins Development helped guide the project through planning, permitting, and construction, coordinating with architects, engineers, environmental consultants, and regulatory agencies to deliver a campus that balances conservation, education, and operational excellence. The thoughtfully designed facility enhances animal care, expands educational opportunities, and creates an immersive visitor experience while supporting the Sanctuary's long-term mission of wildlife conservation and environmental stewardship.

Mollie Wilmot Children's Medical Center - (St. Mary's)

West Palm Beach, Florida

The Molly Wilmot Children's Medical Center at St. Mary's Medical Center is a dedicated pediatric healthcare facility designed to provide comprehensive, family-centered medical care in an environment tailored specifically for children. Encompassing approximately 20,937 square feet, the center features advanced pediatric treatment areas, specialized inpatient units, family support spaces, and state-of-the-art medical technology to serve infants, children, and adolescents throughout the region.

 

As the owner's representative for conversion of this medical office building, Collins Development provided leadership throughout the planning and construction process, coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and hospital stakeholders to ensure the project met the highest standards of quality, functionality, and patient care. The result is a modern pediatric facility that enhances St. Mary's longstanding commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare in a welcoming, child-focused environment.

Fayette Regional Othopedic Medical Center

Fayette, Georgia

The Fayette Regional Orthopedic Medical Center is a master-planned medical office development situated on 16 acres and designed to serve the growing healthcare needs of the region. Collins Development, in partnership with the project team, acquired the site and led the planning and development of a comprehensive medical campus that will ultimately encompass 100,000 to 120,000 square feet across four to seven medical office buildings.

 

The campus's first phase was an 18,000-square-foot state-of-the-art orthopedic medical center featuring physician offices, advanced diagnostic imaging with MRI services, and a full-service physical therapy center, and the sister 28,000 sf facility housing additional orthopedic care as well as an Ambulatory Surgery Center was developed a few years later. Planned as a premier destination for orthopedic and specialty medical care, the development provides flexibility for future expansion while delivering modern, patient-focused healthcare facilities in a thoughtfully designed campus environment.

Salvation Army Community Park

Palm Springs, Florida

The Salvation Army Community Park was developed to create a vibrant recreational destination that serves residents of all ages while enhancing the quality of life within the Village of Palm Springs. Designed as a multi-use community park, the project incorporates open green space, recreational amenities, pedestrian pathways, landscaping, and gathering areas that encourage outdoor activity, family events, and community engagement.

 

Serving as the Owner's Representative, Collins Development managed the project through planning, budgeting, design coordination, governmental approvals, permitting, GC seleciton, and construction. Working collaboratively with municipal staff and project stakeholders, the team successfully delivered a functional and welcoming public space that supports the Village's long-term vision for parks, recreation, and community development. The completed park provides lasting value by creating an attractive neighborhood amenity that promotes wellness, connectivity, and community pride.
